The best of the best in the world's travel industry were announced October 1st 2010 at the World Travel Awards 2010 that took place in the Turkish city Antalya. The winners received their awards in numerous categories, from accommodation to airlines and destinations. This year the best in industry were chosen by a wide "panel" of more than 183 thousand judges. 495 hotels from Europe, Africa, Middle East and the Indian ocean received this acknowledgment.

St. Regis Grand — the best in Rome

Every year experts choose the best in travel industry in various categories for the World Travel Awards. This year around 167 thousand experts, including 10 thousand tour operators representatives from 200 world countries, chose the winners for the World Travel Awards 2009. The nominants from 8 regions were represented: Africa, Asia and Oceanina, the Caribbean, Cantral and Latin America, Europe, Middle East, North America and South America.

Celebrate the Bloody Mary anniversary in Rome

Film premiere at the St. Regis Grand

January 20th St. Regis Grand hotel welcomed cinema fans to the great premiere of the "Defiance - The days of courage" (Defiance - I giorni del coraggio). Roman public will be able to see the film starting January 23rd . It tells a true story of how three brothers managed to escape the massacre of the Jewish community (in 1941, as one might guess) and started their struggle for survival.
