Museo del Corso is hosting an exhibition titled "The Forbidden City", featuring over 300 works, which illustrate the reign of the Emperor Qianlong. He was the fifth emperor of the Manchu Qing Dynasty and the fourth Qing emperor who ruled over China (which at that time was a part of the Manchu Empire). He is famous for turning his imperial quarters into an exquisite domain. Besides these works, the exhibition presents paintings by a Jesuit monk and drawings of a court painter.
