The festival of Neapolitan music (Festival della Canzone Napoletana) reveals an important role of Naples and its culture in the history of Italy. Curated by Pasquale Catalan, it invites you to the concerts, recitals and exhibitions, all dedicated to Neapolitan songs, both modern and traditional. The event takes place May 4th - 11th at the Auditorium Parco della Musica.

The highlights of the festival are performances by High Five Quintet, I Virtuosi di San Martino, Enzo Gragnaniello, Peppe Barral and others, and an exhibition " Festival di Napoli 1954-1970" which throws the light on 16 years of the famous song event. Also don't miss Napoli Jazz Express by the PMJO Parco della Musica Jazz Orchestra Raiz and a lecture dedicated to the history of Neapolitan song.
