The Grand Spa Club at the Rome Cavalieri hotel, a part of Waldorf Astoria collection, was voted among the best Spas. Celebrate this spring at Rome Cavalieri

Advocats meet in Rome Cavalieri

November 20 - 21 2009 Rome Cavalieri Hilton hotel in Rome will play host to the VI Conferenza Nazionale dell'Avvocatura (6th National Advocatory Conference). During these two days the hotel will welcome the highest authorities from the world of policy, justice, labor, business and media. The event will start with the explanatory memorandum, followed by the afternoon session "The reform of the profession. The amendment of Part II of Title IV in the jurisdiction." The next day sessions will be entitled "The Pact for Justice" and "The secular court."

Practice your stamina and gladiator skills in Rome

Rome. Can you think of any better place to feel yourself a gladiator and plunge into the historic past of the great empire? Rome Cavalieri Hilton takes you to the past and provides you with a chance to feel yourself a true gladiator.

Participants of this new gladiator training program take part in two hour combat classes taught by the Group Storico Romano. The class begins with a lecture in the hotel's private garden. Then you put on your tunic, sandals, armour and take your shield and weapon. The fight begins.

Tired and weakened by the combat, you are led to Cavalieri Grand Spa for a relaxing massage. You will leave the hotel with a certificate which proves you fought like a true hero.

Rome Cavalieri for wine connoisseurs

Wine connoisseurs should not miss the visit to Rome Cavalieri Hotel on Monday February 9th 2009. This is the day when from 4.30 pm until 9.30 pm they will be able to sample 48 wines from the Serralunga Barolo. 41 of wine sorts go back to 2001, 2003, 2004. 2005 is also represented. The event is coordinated by Mr. Franco Ziliani.

Rome Cavalieri awarded by Daily Telegraph

According to a survey carried out among Daily Telegraph's 25.000 readers, British prefer Rome Cavalieri to other hotels. The property, which recently joined The Waldorf = Astoria Collection, has received the title of the «Best Hotel» at the Daily & Sunday Telegraph Travel Awards.

In addition to this, Italy has again become the «Favorite European Country», leaving Greece and Portugal behind. The favourite destinations are Venice, Rome, Florence, Tuscany and the Amalfi coast.

Rome Cavalieri - now a Waldorf=Astoria hotel

Previously known as the Rome Cavalieri Hilton, the luxurious Hilton's property is now a part of the Waldorf=Astoria Collection. This is the brand's step towards an aggressive growth which at the same time marks the debut of the Waldorf=Astoria brand in the European region.

Opened almost forty five years ago, the property is nowadays known as one of the most prestigious hotels in the Eternal City and for a long time has been the synonym for luxury and style. It therefore comes as no surprise that Cavalieri joins the Waldorf=Astoria collection of hotels. Re-branding will bring several enhancements, including a new swimming pool and a modern Congress Centre.
