March 30th 2011 the culture, traditions, music and gastronomy of Siena will meet at Regina Hotel Baglioni in Rome at the "Terre di Siena" event, dedicated to everything Sienese. The event will include a variety of workshops, culinary events and of course lots of entertainment. For example, at 6:30 p.m. an art historian Annamaria Guiducci will meet you at the workshop dedicated to Cinta pork. Filippo Bartolotta will hold a workshop dedicated to wines, accompanied by the jazz music that is to be performed by the professors from Siena Jazz Foundation. The heavenly culinary experience at Hotel Regina Baglioni

The real gourmets can combine their visit to the cultural cente of Italy with an unforgettable culinary experience at Regina Baglioni hotel. This March, 2011, the hotel will host two events dedicated to the culinary traditions of Italy. The events are organised in cooperation between Regina, Don Alfonso Restaurant and Siena Girogustando.

The first of them will take place March 4th and 5th. Alfonso Iaccarino, the grand chef of the Don Alfonso Restaurant, will introduce guests to the world of the Mediterranean cuisine, with its fresh ingredients, natural flavours and traditions going deep into the past.

Another event will take place at the hotel's Brunello Lounge & Restaurant on the 30th of March. The traditional Tuscan dishes will be accomplished with pleasant atmosphere and music. The event is organised by Siena Girogustando and the hotel.

Regina Hotel Baglion will undergo renovation

December 1 2008 - March 31 2009 the Regina Hotel Baglioni Rome will unndergo a renovation programme aimed to improve the quality of service offered to the property's guests. The renovation will include reduction of Regina's rooms to 102 (from 136) - this includes the art deco Junior Suites, suites and a Presidential Suite. The hotel will gain a new feature - gym, and new looks for its Belvedere Meeting Room.

The hotel will be closed during the renovation period, though the Brunello Lounge & Restaurant will still be opened to the public.

Regina Baglioni hotel has a special offer for Madonna's fans. During the singer's September tour the hotel will offer a special package which includes two tickets to her concert at the Olympic Stadium, an individual transfer to the stadium and back, face and body massage at the hotel's spa centre several hours before the concert and a table for two in Baglioni's restaurant after the concert.

Those who book a President room with panoramic views from its windows will be carried to the hotel by the Mercedes car.
