Art Renaissance from Donatello to Perugino


 Until Spetember 7th Museo del Corso hosts an exhibition "Il Quattrocento a Roma: Art Renaissance from Donatello to Perugino" dedicated to the artists of the 15th century and their relationship with the Eternal City. Organised by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Roma and Arthemisia, it displays more than 170 artistic works: plastics, furniture, pottery, sculptures, drawings and other objects from several foreign museums, including the Vatican Museum, the British Museum, Skulpturensammlung and Museum für Spätantike und Byzantinische Kunst in Berlin.

The exposition throws the light on the social, urban, religious and artistic life of the 15th-century Rome, with a focus on such artists of the Renaissance epoch like Gentile da Fabbriano, Perugino, Piero della Francesca, Filippo Lippi, Michelangelo and others.
