"XXIX Discesa Internazionale del Tevere" (29th International Descent of the Tiber) is your chance to check your stamina and canoeing skills, enjoy beautiful cities and natural surroundings, and meet new people. The event takes place April 25th - May 1st . Participants start at Citta di Castello and spend seven days paddling along the Tiber. Every day they overcome a distance of about 20 to 30 kms, and finally reach Rome. Note that there are events and parties organised at stopovers by local municipalities. Enjoy the landscapes of Città di Castello, Sant'Angelo di Celle and Fratta Todina! The descent is open to all canoing participants from around the world, but mind that the number of participants is limited and there are some rules they have to follow, so it is advisable to consult the event's official website.
