Sebastiano del Piombo


 Sebastiano del Piombo (born Sebastiano Luciani) was an Italian Renaissance-Mannerist painter of the beginning of the 16th century famous for his combination of the colors of the Venetian school and the monumental forms of the Roman school.
Sebastiano del Piombo belongs to the Venetian school, but the major part of life he worked in Rome. He received training in music and was as a skillful flutist but later developed a liking for music and became a pupil of Giovanni Bellini. He was also greatly influenced by Giorgione, what found reflection in his works.
