A Chorus Line In Rome"A Chorus Line" is a famous Broadway musical based on the book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante. The lyrics was written by Edward Kleban and the music was composed by Marvin Hamlisch. The premier of the musical took place in 1975 with Michael Bennet as a director. The show was an unprecedented box office and critical hit, receiving 12 Tony Award nominations and winning nine of them, in addition to the 1976 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The plot is simple: a director is auditioning people for a show.
