2008 will be a symbolic year for the Italian capital. New and renovated exhibition areas are to be opened this year. Among the most expected events is the presentation of Nuovo Macro (Reggio Emilia), which will host contemporary art.
Restoration of the Rome Museum, located in the Palazzo Braschi, and the Torre Tower at Villa Torlonia is to be completed up to the end of the year. 2 new museums - the History Museum (via dei Cerci) and Science Museum in Flamigno (via Gvido Reni) will enlarge the list of the city's museums.
