A beautiful Villa Torlonia, one of the most splendid Italian villas, was recently completely renewed. The gardens were arranged the way they were in the 17th century with some additions such as shrubs, trees, vases and gazebo. The lake and hill in the grounds have been recreated and the paths have been rebuilt and decorated with statues and lamps.
Some changes have been made to the villa too. The Casino Nobile (the Grand/Main Lodge) has been restored externally and internally. Now the Casino serves also as a museum, housing an exhibition of the paintings of the artists who worked during WWI and WWII.
