In the time of globalisation the borders between the countries become more and more vague. The Romaeuropa Festival is organized to underline the cooperation and mark friendship between different states. It is characterized by an extremely miscellaneous programming, which includes dance, theater, contemporary art and electronic music.
   There are five main subjects the festival focuses on. They are: Art and Technology (the relationships between the man and the work), Old Stories, New Glimpses (figures, themes and sounds of classical heritage in original forms), Orients (the communication between the East and the West), Transformations (remixed sounds, bodies and images), Nightline (Rome night life insight).
   The Romaeuropa Festival is held from 7 November to 15 December.
