Hotel Santa Chiara is one of the few remaining hotels of its caliber that continues to be owned and run by the same family for generations past. The original structure was primarily a convent. Throughout the years it served to sell wine and olive oil with the possibility of lodgings until in the year 1883 when it became a hotel. Many of the rooms available to our guests have recently been refurbished and there is also the possibility of wireless internet connection in the public areas. In room amenities include air conditioning; mini bar, Sat TV, direct dial telephone and desk with working area. The hotel also includes within its grounds an open space where one can relax with a drink whilst admiring the spectacular view of the Santa Maria Sopra Minerva Church. From FCO-Fiumicino Airport take the Leonardo Express to Termini main railway station. Alternatively a taxi rank is available outside Arrivals. Or from Termini Railway Station take the Express bus number 40 or bus number 64 for Piazza Cinquecento and get off at Largo di Torre Argentina. The hotel is situated in a very restricted traffic zone so please advise the hotel if you are arriving with your own car.
