The two first are in Shanghai and Seville, while in 2010 Sol Melia's portfolio will be complement with a new property in Rome, operating under the Gran Meliá brand. Gran Meliá Roma will be located in the very centre of the Eternal city.
The group currently operates 300 hotels and resorts, including twelve hotels under the Gran Meliá brand.
