Many know the Museo Barracco, founded by the collector Giovanni Barracco, as a museum containing prestigious collections of antique sculpture. However, until 8 June 2008 the museum plays hosts to contemporary art, with works by Paolo Delle Monache displayed at the venue within the "Ex-volto" exhibition. 25 sculptures represent the images of a human and its surroundings and seem to feel quite at home among the ancient masterpieces from Syria, Egypt, Cypress, Phoenicia, Greece and Rome.2008.05.23
