Auditorium Parco della Musica dedicates the whole 2,5 weeks to China, with Cina viCina festival held at the auditorium May 23rd - June 8th. The venue turns into the place where people of different cultures can learn more about this vast country, the most populous in the world. Drama performances and concerts, dance, traditional Chinese opera, circus acts and acrobatic routines, exhibitions, handicrafts, installations, traditional cuisine tastings, Chinese massage, workshops on tai chi and kung fu, not to mention the well-known Chinese fireworks. It would take a long time to list everything you can see and do at Cina viCina. The event opens with a theatrical performance Poet li Bai. Other highlights of the festival are " Dance of the Lion" performed by the Dongguan Shipai Lion Dancing Troupe and " I Love Peach Blossoms" by the Beijing People's Art Theatre.
